Sonic Reveries 。・゚AMNION
Sonic Reveries is the latest audio project from Roderick Price (aka AMNION). This unique project aims to create an album of musical arrangements and soundtracks, presented in a live surround sound immersive experience with a twist
The album's curation is guided by the audience. Physical artifacts, each representing a potential album track, are displayed on a table for the audience to view. This process repeats with each new audience member until only five artifacts remain, representing the final tracks for the album, Sonic Reveries.
The Process:
Step 1: Choose
Select an artifact from the display, each associated with a track from the proposed album, Sonic Reveries.
Step 2: Enter
Enter the dome and find a comfortable space, whether seated, standing, lying down, or moving around.
Step 3: Listen
Experience the music associated with your chosen artifact, performed just for you.
Step 4: Finish
After the performance, leave the dome with your chosen artifact as a keepsake.

Zombie Apocalypse Wildlife Spring Catalogue 。・゚ Katrina Rank & Fine Lines
In the aftermath of the zombie apocalypse, a once-thriving museum becomes an eerie haven for a new life form – human-plastic hybrids, a result of survivors unknowingly ingesting nano plastics before the zombie pandemic. Consuming and absorbing the tiny plastic particles had a protective effect but ultimately led to a new form of post-apocalyptic existence. These hybrids, now residing within the museum, present a bizarre fusion of organic and synthetic style. Their existence serves as a reminder of the unintended consequences of plastic pollution.
For a strictly limited period, the hybrids will open their doors to a handful of privileged guests. (Yes, that’s you!) Their goal is to forge greater appreciation for their unparalleled survival instinct, courage and ingenuity. On the verge of extinction, they appeal to their human guests to support their home and protect their species. Guests are urged to maintain their distance and keep voices low. No flash photography or food may be consumed in the space. ‘During the tour, we invite you to quietly consider the interconnectedness of humanity, hybrids and the environment and the importance of maintaining this remarkable collection for future generations.’ Museum CEO, Terrance Smith |

The Hybrids
Creature
Gentle, inquisitive, playful, introverted. Slow to stir; once excited, hard to compose. Would like more Creatures to nestle with. Plastic contaminants: Pita bread bags and synthetic orange netting. The Wolven Smart, quick witted and possessive. Wilful but contained. If provoked, wild animal instincts may be revealed. Plastic contaminants: single use white plastic bags, synthetic orange netting, discarded bedding. |
Snowitch
Dreaming of tundra landscapes, Snowitch is cool and insular, slow to anger, intensely loyal and protective. Prefers stillness to action, solitude to company and soft classical music. Plastic contaminants: single use white plastic bags, synthetic orange netting, thick multiple use plastic bags, armour. |
Shaggy Dragon
Boisterous, enthusiastic and curious, dreamy, messy and sweet, Shaggy Dragon has no vanity. Would make a great ambassador if only there weren’t so many more exciting things to do. Plastic contaminants: thick Coles shopping bags (now out of production), synthetic orange netting, bubble wrap. |

Inter/Woven 。・゚ Louise Seymour
Everything is vibration.
There is rhythm in everything. All is Inter/Woven. Inter/Woven is an immersive art piece that explores things we can hear but cannot see, things we see but do not know and the interconnected threads that run through it all. It is a place where the vibration, pattern and rhythm all intersect. It is a space that will illuminate and myceliate hidden worlds and meaning. |

Upon entering the dimly lit space you will be greeted by your guide - Hyphae - who does not say much in words but will offer their undivided attention throughout your journey. Their role is to usher you between the 3 nodes that sit before you - each connected by a single red thread - to form a triangle. One by one the nodes will be illuminated as you move between each.
The first node will offer a peek into the vibration, oscillation and pulsation that exists all around us. It will unearth that which is unseen - offering you but a glimpse of the patterns that make up everything - the vision of sound. From here you will follow the red threads toward the second node where you will have an opportunity to immerse in the world of the micro and know it - SEE IT - close up. What lies within? How can we know it better? All the while Hyphae - your guide - will be by your side ushering you onto the next - and final - node. An audio visual experience that will envelope your senses and weave the threads together. As above, so below. Isn’t that what they say? No matter. It will be for you to hold and for you to REVEL in. May the spark of curiosity and wonder find you in this moment.

Her keen interest in the rhythms, vibrations, patterns, connections and extraordinary phenomena of the natural world are what spark her curiosity and drive her creativity. Through her art practice Louise explores the intersection of the sacred and science allowing the interconnected threads to resonate with the viewer and myceliate into a spark of curiosity.

The Tension of Hesychia 。・゚ Ourania (Rani) Amvrazis
The Tension of Hesychia is a multisensory exploration of the phenomena of light, sound and the spaces in-between.
The Tension of Hesychia is a large scale, multidisciplinary and interactive installation that encourages playfulness and self-guided inquiry through the activation of senses. Inspired by the line of enquiry ‘Does colour have sound?’ the project combines and reuses discarded found and industrial materials such as solar panels, light, sound and amplifiers to explore the phenomena of light and sound. These disparate materials are transformed into an experiential soundscape that is composed through performative gestures in response to the light and sound. |

The audience will be invited to perform with the artist as they move through the space together to explore the transmission of energy and forces that are often outside of human perception, engaging with the forces at play.
The installation becomes a multisensory encounter that aims to question perceived reality by exploring liminal-liminoid space as a space of exchange, connection and potential transformation.
A new pedal has been commissioned for the performance specifically designed to encourage audience participation; a collaboration with Michael Gardner from emmergyfx based out of a studio in the UK.

The world her parents and community expected, the Australian world that did not understand her culture and her own world that always told her to challenge what was expected of her. She followed the route of a typical South Asian migrant and became a commercial lawyer. But, like most POC, she struggled but found her feet in law but landed a gig as a start-up lawyer advising on Australia’s fastest growing tech companies. However, Uppma knew that her work was to help preserve culture and bring authenticity to the world. She began working on a side hustle called Chai Walli, which aimed at recreating her Grandfather's Ayurvedic chai blends with the world. With a twist of fate, she left her legal career to focus on Chai Walli full time, which is grounded with pillars of integrity, authenticity and community. Uppma has a deep love for creative writing and grew up reading South Asian poetry. She is a published writer who uses her innate sense of words and poetry to make sense of the world, most recently she worked with Sydney Opera House. Uppma is also a sensory artist who needs to work with her hands and innate sense of flavour which have been passed down generations in her family. As a student and teacher of Ayurveda, she believes that flavour and culture have a deep ability to ground and move us in unexplainable ways. Song and dance play a big role in Uppma's connection to the world and her upbringing, listening to sufi music and learning different dance forms was a way she could express herself through movement. These days, Uppma can be found managing Chai Walli and working on her creative pursuits. She is a leader in the South Asian diaspora and is passionate about reclaiming culture. |

What is “I LOOK GOOD IN SHORT SHORTS XL”?
Glad you asked! I look good in short shorts started at the Mount Evelyn hsL and has grown into a must at every festival since. Short shorts sees two (or more) artists of different mediums, that have never made art together before, perform a 10 minute improvisation performance for the loving audience. Highlights have been noise artist Rod with contemporary dancer Sara, drummer Aiden with writer/performer Meiki Apted, saw player Nikki and festival director Toni.... and sooooo many more combinations. Anyone can participate as long as you can do it live! Put your name in the hat to perform and create an amazing new relationship live on stage. |
