deepening practice

hillsceneLIVE is more than just an extraordinary arts festival.

Something that we consider incredibly important is providing artists with professional development. Regardless of the stage of practice, we deliver workshops, discussions and engagement opportunities that deepen and expand our artists' ways of making, thinking, unpacking and exploring.

We also deliver sessions for public to attend - contact us if you would like to be added to the mailing list for updates on opportunities like this!

In previous years, PD workshops have been facilitated by Angharad Wynne-Jones, Jade Lillie, Tiffaney Bishop, Bo Svoronos, Leisa Shelton, Cr Fiona McAllister, Dr Ross Farnell and Megan Rowland.

hillsceneLIVE acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia, on which we live, create, and play. We acknowledge the long history of performance and art making that is embedded in the Dandenong Ranges and the in history of the Wurundjeri and Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was. Always will be. Aboriginal land.
