Expressions of Interest OPEN ON MONDAY 11 MAY
and close Friday 19 JUNE

The hillsceneLIVE team will support artists and groups of artists to create a new performance work to be presented as part of the 2020 hillsceneLIVE REVEL: Flirting the precipice.

Working in partnership with Yarra Ranges Council and Burrinja Cultural Centre, the hillsceneLIVE program is structured to be a comprehensive and nurturing platform to take an idea / challenge / creative work and develop it into a live performance outcome. Integral to our process is a commitment to supporting a connection between the work and the artist, enriching the creative practice of all artists involved. During the program you will be engaged in 4 monthly participation of events held in the Dandenong Ranges (interstate / international artists may also apply, please contact us before you do) providing you with the space to take bold risks into your explorations.

Each year we provoke artists with a theme that stems from the creative climate and this year will be no different. hsL is going through a change this year (just like everything & everyone else) and we wanted this year's theme to reflect that emergence of the new, the creativity found in the pause, Flirting the Precipice.

How to apply

The video can be as creative as you like, however, please ensure you answer all of the questions. If you would like to apply with a video EOI download the instructions here
