Our philosophy is to provide healthy nutritious food with low impact to the environment and friendly to the animals on this planet. Our food is karma free!
Our bodies need protein and good nutrition so we have selected 7 different types of coloured beans, to provide this high level of nutrician. Beans are low in fat, low GI, high in fibre and high in protein.
Beans are a low impact crop and require much less water than animals and so is an ecological choice, as well as a compassionate one as a source of food. Dhal is another excellent source of protein, especially when eaten in combination with rice, toast or roti.

The concept of Just like Nonna’s food truck began at the dinner table, surrounded by family. The idea of bringing the food that we know and love to the streets was brought up, and ever since, that’s what we’ve set out to do. With countless hours spent in the kitchen with Nonna, we learned the techniques necessary to replicate the dishes that were so familiar to us.
We dedicated our time to learn every aspect we could about the food truck and catering industries, and as a result our menu was created. The goal was to not only pay homage to Nonna and her beautiful recipes, but to satisfy the people.

Shuttle Bus
Birdsland Reserve is a beautiful hidden gem... but that comes with some drawbacks, like no access to public transport and minimal parking on site. Please consider using our shuttle bus between Belgrave Station and Birdsland Reserve. We will be running a limited service on Saturday between 12-2pm, 6-7pm and at the close of the festival, and on Sunday between 12-2pm, 5-6pm and 8-9pm. Reserve your seats here
